1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using iListGTA ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use our Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and business owners who access or use iListGTA, located at ilistgta.com.

2. Description of Service

iListGTA is an online business directory serving the Greater Toronto Area. We provide:

• A searchable directory of local businesses
• Event listings for GTA community events
• Coupon and deal listings from local businesses
• Tools for business owners to manage their listings
• Enquiry forms for visitors to contact businesses

3. User Accounts

Registration

To list a business or access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your password confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Business Listings

Content Standards

All submitted listings, events, and coupons must:

• Represent real, operating businesses located in the Greater Toronto Area
• Contain accurate, truthful information
• Not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights
• Comply with all applicable Canadian federal and Ontario provincial laws
• Not contain spam, misleading claims, or deceptive content

Review Process

All new listings, events, and coupons are subject to review by our team before publication. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any submission at our sole discretion. Reasons for rejection include (but are not limited to) inaccurate information, inappropriate content, or businesses operating outside the GTA.

Prohibited Content

You may not submit listings for:

• Illegal businesses or activities
• Adult entertainment (unless licensed and compliant with Ontario law)
• Pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing without a legitimate product
• Businesses that discriminate based on protected characteristics under the Ontario Human Rights Code

5. Intellectual Property

By submitting content (text, images, business information) to iListGTA, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on our Platform and in promotional materials.

You retain ownership of your content. You represent that you have the right to grant us this licence (e.g., you own any images you upload).

The iListGTA name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are our intellectual property and may not be used without our written permission.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
• Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

iListGTA is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of any business information submitted by third parties. Users interact with listed businesses at their own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, iListGTA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed $100 CAD or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Upon termination, your listings will be removed from public view. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting a notice on the Platform and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
